Altered State Token (ASTO)

Altered State Machine was co-founded in 2021 by David McDonald, Aaron McDonald, Hal Smith Stevens, and Phil Williams. They bring diverse expertise from technology, blockchain, and innovation industries.

The exact number of ASTO isn't specified, but it's likely to be a significant amount to support the ecosystem's needs. Initially, most ASTO will be distributed to Genesis Brain NFT holders, ensuring a wide distribution.

ASTO has several use cases within the Altered State Machine ecosystem. It enables access to the ASM network, facilitates creating and training AI Agents, supports inter-Agent transactions, participation in events like Genome Mining, and even play-to-earn games. Holders of ASTO can also participate in the ElderDAO, a community-led initiative shaping the future of ASM.

Upon its launch, ASTO will be primarily distributed through airdrops to Genesis Brain NFT holders. Additionally, there will be an ASTO Discovery Auction to ensure liquidity, followed by availability on decentralized exchanges (DEX) like Uniswap and later on centralized exchanges (CEX). The first use-case for earning ASTO will be through AIFA, a play-to-earn game where players can compete and win ASTO with their AI-powered All-Star teams.
